 The college runs two independent OPDs in Nashik- one at college premises & other at SAYKHEDKAR multispecialty Hospital. These OPDs are completely looked after by 3rd year students.
The college follows the philosophy of making them independent to learn from their mistakes. The students are made completely responsible in running & maintaining of these OPDs. They are encouraged to run the promotional activities for their respective OPDs, maintain records, instruments etc.
Each of these OPDs are equipped with all required instruments like complete refraction unit, ophthalmoscope, Tonometer, Color vision testing, Retinoscope, set of contact lenses, slit lamp & Keratometer. One of the OPDs also has the Perimeter for visual field testing in Glaucoma & other conditions.
The college has created a specific learning matrix with learning objectives & outcomes.
Apart from these independent OPDs college has collaborations with all leading eye hospitals & private clinics in Nashik and across India. |
